From One Story to a Movement Changing Children's Lives
How one boyâs imagination helped thousands of children rediscover a love of writing.
Order the Book That's Changing Lives
It started with a question
Â
âShall we make up a story where youâre the hero?"
That conversation became The Adventures of Gabriel, and today, itâs transforming how children learn to write, feel, and express themselves.

A Mother, a Son, and a Platypus Named Platy
Â
Gabriel, at the time aged 10, didnât write his story down, he spoke it aloud. I took notes. He dreamed up sea monsters, phoenix quests, and a platypus sidekick. It was joyful, messy, and alive.
That was our Friday ritual. Over about eight weeks, his imagination became a book. And when we shared it with a former teacher and a child psychologist, they both said the same thing:
âGet this out. Other children need this.â

What Happened Next Surprised Us All
We created a storytelling framework based on those Friday nights, now called StoryQuestâ˘.
In classrooms across the UK, itâs helping children who âdonât like writingâ discover that they actually do.
đ 90% story completion rate
âď¸ 100% engagement from reluctant writers
đŹ âEven the kids who normally struggle with writing wanted to share their stories.â
Children find confidence through character. They speak their ideas first, and then write. It works. Every time.
This Isnât Just a Story About Us, Itâs About YouÂ
Whether youâre a parent, teacher, or child, you have a story.
We created this to give children something theyâre rarely offered in school: freedom to imagine.
Because when theyâre free to speak, they find their voice. And once they find it, they never forget it.
