How one boy’s imagination helped thousands of children rediscover a love of writing.
It started with a question

That conversation became The Adventures of Gabriel, and today, it’s transforming how children learn to write, feel, and express themselves.

Gabriel, 10, didn’t write his story down, he spoke it aloud. I took notes. He dreamed up sea monsters, phoenix quests, and a platypus sidekick. It was joyful, messy, and alive.
That was our Friday ritual. Over about eight weeks, his imagination became a book. And when we shared it with a former teacher and a child psychologist, they said the same thing:
“Get this out. Other children need this.”
